世代交代 引退が進む211系電車
1986年に導入されて以来より長らくの間、東海道線の顔として活躍してきた211系。
Since its introduction in 1986, the JR East / JR Central 211 Series trains served for many years as the iconic face of the Tokaido Line, supporting commuter and suburban services along one of Japan’s most important railway corridors.

In this video, I revisited footage originally shot on videotape in the early to mid-1990s, which I had previously digitized for preservation. Using a newly adopted video editing software, I re-edited the material with color fade restoration and other enhancements.
The video itself is the same one that I uploaded to YouTube about ten years ago, in 2014. However, both my PC and editing environment have improved significantly since then, allowing me to achieve better image quality and more refined results than before. For that reason, I decided to upload the video once again.
I personally stopped my train photography (railfan) activities around the time the COVID-19 situation began, but I have continued working with video editing ever since. Going forward, while studying and improving my skills with editing software, I plan to keep restoring and reworking archival footage from the past and sharing it here.
